Activities of Firm Members
Michelle Pimentel, CPA and
Michael Pimentel, CPA are both serving on
the School of Business Advisory Board at California State
University, Stanislaus. Michelle and Mike are both business school
graduates of CSU, Stanislaus
Michael Pimentel
is currently volunteering as Treasurer of “Friends of
Modesto Junior College and Columbia College, Yes on Measure E” bond
issue. The bond issue would allow the Yosemite Community College
District Board of Trustees to issue Bonds in the amount of $326.2
million to be used for upgrading buildings and technology, meeting
housing needs for overcrowded classrooms and establishing new
education centers.
Michelle Pimentel
is licensed as a California Certified Public
Accountant in the State of California. She received her certificate
in May 2003. Michelle was recently engaged to be married, and has
set her wedding date for next year (after tax season) to Scott
Montez. Congratulations Michelle and Scott!
Michael Pimentel
has recently completed two consecutive three-year terms on AICPA
Council, the governing Board of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants. The AICPA is a professional association with
over 330,000 CPA members. Mike is also a Past State Vice-President
and Treasurer of the California Society of Certified Public
Accountants, a professional association with over 28,000 CPA
members.
Mari Prickett
has been a Staff Accountant with our firm for over a year. Mari has
received her Bachelor in Science degree in Accounting from
Humphrey’s College. Mari continues to expand her services in tax
preparation, accounting services, and client relations.

Mari Prickett
has completed the prerequisites to take the CPA examination. The
examination consists of extensive testing of accounting and auditing
procedures, and is her last requirement to be licensed as a
Certified Public Accountant. She plans to take the CPA exam later
this year.
Kathy Doyle
has recently joined the staff of our firm. Kathy
received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from California State
University, Stanislaus. She will be involved with front office
services, client relations and accounting services. Welcome to the
firm Kathy!
International and Domestic
Services. The firm continues to expand
its client base of California clients, and other domestic clients
situated in many states, plus International client services.
